Where in the past an unexpected failure would have resulted in the unit being taken away, perhaps for weeks whilst a remote workshop identified the problem, then had to order parts before they could be fitted, Knight Warner’s engineers will always try to rectify issues without leaving you stuck.
Example:
A power board fails on a critical unit, controlling an essential part of a customer’s process. Within TWO HOURS, one of our engineers was on site and the unit was running again in just another HOUR. Apart from saving lost production time, this also means cost-savings too.
Sometimes we do have to take instruments back to our workshop, however. But this is only when our engineer can show it will be the best way to solve the problem.
And we will never remove a unit from site without your full permission and without ensuring a system is in place while it’s away.
Example:
A sampling unit was consistently failing, with the result that the customer was unable to verify a process monitoring unit. Our engineer identified the problem, which needed the whole system to be stripped and number of components replaced. Talking to the customer, it was agreed that an alternative unit could be used, so the faulty one was able to be cleaned, new parts collected by the engineer and fitted, then returned, all in-between two scheduled service visits.
Our technicians also have extensive experience in analysis of returned product, trade complaints and other non-routine requirements, so are able to advise on many other aspects of quality-related issues.
