Control Engineers

As a successful growing company with a high profile client base, we require further experienced and innovative control engineers at our Staveley and Wyboston sites.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience working on projects undertaken within the food, beverage, pharmaceutical or packaging industries.

You must be self motivated and capable of working alone or as part of a team and have the ability to take projects from the initial design phase through to final acceptance.

Minimum Skills Required:

PLC/SCADA programming/configuration
Hardware Design
MS Office
Basic Project Management
Commissioning
Autocad / Solidworks experience would be an advantage

Mechanical Design Engineer

Knight Warner Limited is an established engineering company with a Head Office based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and a regional office in Wyboston, Bedfordshire

We are looking for an innovative mechanical design engineer to take on a challenging role within this rapidly growing company.

The ideal candidate will have experience in machine design, automation and packaging systems, within at least one of the following industries; food, beverage, pharmaceutical or packaging.

We are looking for someone who is self motivated and capable of working on their own or as part of a small team, taking specialist bespoke projects from initial concept through design, detail and build to customer acceptance.

Other requirements include:

AutoCad Solid Works would be an advantage, however training would be available.
All Office packages.
Demonstrate project management skills
Have an eye for detail
Capable of managing project budgets
Pneumatic experience would be an advantage
Sub contract control

Automation Engineer

We are looking for an automation engineer who is capable of bridging our mechanical and electrical design teams, with strong focus on bespoke solutions. The successful candidate will be capable of working on their own initiative on a daily basis, and will report directly to our technical director. A minimum of 6 years experience in mechanical and electrical design, with a flair for creating innovative solutions is required, and ideally coming from a packaging or pharmaceutical background.

Responsibilities will be for the technical execution of projects, including design, proposal development and client presentation, as well as supporting our mechanical and electrical engineers in both detailed design, scheduling, project management and start-up support.

Therefore experience using AutoCad, MS Projects, all aspects of Office, and a good understanding of PLC systems would be required.
